A learning experience for Chrissy Matthews, ... to paraphrase Confusius : B4 one takes their foot out of their mouth they must first pull their head outta their butt. Then again its a lot of great laughs.

A Solution for Same Sex Marriage Cc: President Barack Obama & Robin Tyler Considering all the interest in the controversy over same sex marriage, I thought I'd offer a solution. Granted, it's just my two cents worth and it is date sensitive, meaning I am always evolving. Just don't expect me to go all 180 like the President. Anyways here it is. There is no longer a need for government to be involved in the traditional marriage business. There was a time when it was important for state governments to promote pro-creation which is the reason for offering tax benefits and cheap marriage licenses. Government's only responsibility today should be in protecting the rights of those who enter into civil contracts. You've probably heard it said that government should not legislate "love." I agree. Call it a "civil union" whether referring to a same sex couple or opposite sex couple. Then, for those of us who choose a traditional marriage, after establishing the State civil contract requirements, there would the additional opportunity to hold a separate marriage ceremony within our own churches or other organizations according to our beliefs. You see, I prefer traditional marriage and I have never viewed Holy Matrimony or the love I have for my wife as something granted to me by the State.

How did Pres. Obama get into University, if according to his book, he took drugs, drank alcohol, and took is easy in his last two years of high school? Why can't we review his school grades? How did he get into University in the first place? All other candidates have to reveal their thesis papers and grades. Is this just more affirmative action for Presidents?
